The process of mixing Melanotan 2 is very simple.

How to Mix a Melanotan Injection Kit

Your Melanotan injection starter kit includes everything you need, so you don’t have to worry about going to the pharmacy or buying additional supplies for mixing Melanotan. The Melanotan 10 mg starter kit contains:
  • 1 vial of Melanotan 2 (10 mg)
  • 1 pipette with 5 ml of water (NaCl) “Sodium Chloride”
  • 2 Melanotan syringes
Follow these steps to easily mix your Melanotan 2:
  1. Start by removing the plastic cap from the Melanotan vial.
  2. Then, twist off the top of the pipette containing the water.
  3. Take one of the included Melanotan syringes and fill the syringe **completely** with as much water as it can hold **only TWICE**. The remaining water should be discarded. This means you will use a total of 2 ml of BAC water.
  4. Insert the needle through the rubber stopper of the Melanotan vial and **carefully** inject the water into the vial.
  5. Repeat this process until all the water has been transferred into the Melanotan vial.
  6. Now, the powder should dissolve in the water. If not, **gently roll** the vial in your hand until the powder has fully dissolved. Be careful **not to shake** the vial, as the Melanotan peptide is very sensitive.

How Much Melanotan 2 Should You Take?

The amount of Melanotan you should take depends entirely on your body weight. Men and women under 65 kg are recommended to take **0.25 mg per dose**, while men and women over 65 kg are recommended to take **0.5 mg per dose**. Melanotan 2 for injection should be injected into abdominal fat. The Melanotan syringe included in the kit is an insulin syringe that is extremely small and thin, meaning it won’t be painful to inject the Melanotan solution. We recommend taking a firm grip of the fat on your abdomen, quickly and firmly inserting the needle, injecting the chosen dose of Melanotan, and then quickly removing the needle. How Long Does Melanotan Last?

The shelf life of Melanotan varies greatly depending on how you store it. Melanotan can be stored both mixed and unmixed. Unmixed Melanotan has a longer shelf life than when the solution has been mixed. Melanotan should be stored:
  • In a cool place
  • In a dark place
For maximum shelf life. You can store Melanotan in three different ways:
  • At room temperature (not recommended, whether mixed or unmixed)
  • In the refrigerator
  • In the freezer
The recommended storage method depends on whether you have mixed your Melanotan or not. Mixed Melanotan should be stored in the refrigerator and maintains its quality for about 4–6 months before it starts losing effectiveness. If you are in the loading phase, we recommend keeping it in the refrigerator since you will be taking Melanotan daily during this period. If you have completed the loading phase and are now in the maintenance phase, we recommend drawing up the mixed solution into Melanotan syringes, freezing them, and taking them out as needed for your weekly dose. You can then refreeze them again. Mixed Melanotan can last up to 12–18 months in the freezer before it starts to lose effectiveness. Unmixed Melanotan is best stored in the freezer and can last up to 24 months without losing potency. It can also be stored in the refrigerator, where it remains effective for about 12 months before degradation begins.

What Do You Mix Melanotan With?

It is crucial to mix Melanotan with **sterile water**. Typically, Melanotan is mixed with **”NaCl” (Sodium Chloride)**. Since you are injecting this liquid into your body, you should never mix Melanotan with regular tap water.
