About PEG MGF
PEG MGF (PEGylated Mechano Growth Factor) is a modified form of the MGF E domain peptide in which a polyethylene glycol (PEG) moiety is conjugated to the peptide backbone. PEGylation significantly extends the plasma half-life of MGF compared to the unmodified peptide.
PEG MGF is used in in vitro preclinical research examining extended-release MGF pharmacokinetics and satellite cell biology. Studies have compared its biological activity and persistence with non-PEGylated MGF in cell-based assays. The PEGylated form allows researchers to investigate MGF signalling over extended time courses.
