Description
About Bacteriostatic Mixing Solution
Bacteriostatic Mixing Solution is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth in the solution, allowing the vial to be accessed multiple times without compromising sterility. It is the standard reconstitution medium for lyophilised research peptides.
This solution is used to dissolve lyophilised peptide powders to the desired concentration for use in in vitro research. It maintains peptide stability and sterility once the vial has been opened and reconstituted.
